Smart Growth, Not Growth at Any Cost
In this blog, I share my vision for smart, community-rooted growth in Ward Nakota Isga. I believe we can build more housing without sacrificing what makes our neighbourhoods feel like home. That means focusing growth where it makes sense—like corner lots, transit corridors, and community nodes—and protecting mature neighbourhoods with strong design standards and better public engagement.
I don’t support extreme, one-size-fits-all approaches. I support thoughtful zoning reform that reflects the real needs of real communities and helps make Edmonton more inclusive, more affordable, and more livable for everyone. Let’s get this right—together.
